The Big Fix -as part of Innovation Week in Year 6 we have watched episode one with the children. Bringing real life, moving and emotional examples of innovation so the children can be inspired by the coding they are learning in Computing at the moment. Learning how complex electrical circuits that we are creating in Science, can be used in real life situations to have massive impacts on the lives of ordinary people experiencing difficulties.

We have the fantastic opportunity of welcoming in Computer Explorers in for an Expo style event where children throughout Key Stage 2 will have the chance to hone their skills in a variety of computing and problem solving activities. If you are available, we would love to see you all, in the Primary PE Hall, Sapphire and Oxford - Wednesday 1st February - 7.50-8.50am. Marine and Cambridge - Wednesday 1st February 11.15-12.15pm Royal - Thursday 2nd 8.50-9.50am. Kind Regards The Year 6 Team In computing this term we are using iPads, Bluetooth and Lego WeDo 2.0 to build and program Milo the Science Rover! We have started the term off following instructions to build Milo and then we will soon be programming him to move around! In Oxford we are making sculptures this half term. We are working in pairs and making use of the Secondary Art facilities, expertise and support to make them turn out brilliantly! Watch this space for the next stage.
