Choose a piece of Aztec Art work, print it off or draw it and research about the ceremony or festival it relates to. Find out as much information as possible and present it in an eye-catching way. Remember it is due Monday 25th April 2016.
Links to help: http://www.aztec-history.com/ancient-aztec-art.html http://www.ducksters.com/history/aztec_empire/art.php http://www.aztec-indians.com/aztec-art.html We just wanted to say from all the Year 6 teachers how very impressed we are with how well organised you have been this week sorting out your homework, printing off the necessary sheets at school if you have needed to etc. A couple of sensible emails have been sent to relevant teachers by students just checking/clarifying instructions.
I am sure you have now realised that there is only 30-40 minutes extra homework a week this term. It is either Science or Humanities or Art. Maths may look like a lot, but as we discussed in assembly today, the 20 a day should only be taking 15 minutes a day, so that is 1 hour each week. Your mymaths carries on as normal as it has all year and you have a couple of minutes worth of videos to watch a week to help with revision. This term, however, you are being given a whole week to complete your Maths rather than the few days previously. This is to help you learn to manage your time effectively. You have your English and spellings as normal. Good luck and we look forward to seeing some of the fabulous research about female scientists. The Year 6 Team. |
