Some of you may need a bit of a refresher on how to divide using chunking. If you do, please feel free to watch these videos which should help you out. (Mums and Dads - we didn't do chunking when we were at school, so it will be a learning curve for you too!) ![]()

This week there are a number of different division practice sheets. We recommend spending between 5 and 10 minutes on each sheet. Get the timer out and stick to it. Don't end up spending hours on one sheet. Sheet 2 is super challenging, so don't panic if you can't remember how to do this type of division from Year 5 using the chunking method. Either have a go, or say, I need some revision. Remaining sheets - follow time limits.
My Maths homework has also been set. You all have your passwords, so there should be no problems logging on! My Maths is optional this week. ![]() In preparation for our Science lesson next week on classifying plants please bring in at least 3 different types of leaves. These will be looked at in detail, using microscopes to note their differences and to see if we can group them. Effort Points will be given out for the more unusual leaves found. Homework set and distributed in Maths groups on Sunday. Clear instructions given by teachers.
